Heinz-Michael Schulz
President
Heinz-Michael Schulz serves as President of the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ), providing strategic leadership, institutional direction, and entrepreneurial oversight to the Federation’s global mission.
Raised and educated in an international environment, including long-term attendance at the Vienna International School, he developed a bilingual proficiency in German and English and a cross-cultural outlook that continues to shape his leadership approach.
His professional background is rooted in entrepreneurship and international trade, including the development and optimisation of a family-based jewellery business with multi-generational expertise in diamonds, gold, valuation, and cross-border operations. He later established his own independent business, expanding activities internationally and building sustainable commercial structures.
His strengths lie in organisational design, operational leadership, and the creation of platforms that enable individuals and initiatives to operate credibly within complex international environments.
He assumed the presidency of IFSJ in 2023, continuing the organisation’s institutional development with a focus on credibility, structured growth, and long-term international engagement.

Erich Hillinger
Vice President · Head of the Concord Council for Global Affairs (CCGA)
Erich Hillinger serves as Vice President of the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ) and as Head of the Concord Council for Global Affairs (CCGA), the Federation’s honorary advisory structure bringing together senior figures from institutional, economic, and international backgrounds.
An International Trade Advisor at the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, he brings over 18 years of experience in international economic relations, cross-border trade, and institutional engagement. Earlier in his career, he gained experience within the European Parliament in Brussels and in project-related roles in New York City, contributing to his international and multi-level institutional perspective.
He brings long-standing experience in institutional affairs, international economic relations, and cross-border engagement, contributing a stabilizing and credibility-focused perspective to the Federation’s leadership structure. His work is further shaped by a diplomatic and consensus-oriented approach, reflecting his experience in international and institutional environments.
As Head of CCGA, Erich is responsible for the development and long-term positioning of the council, including the identification and onboarding of suitable members and the establishment of a coherent, invitation-only, and reputation-driven framework.
Within the Vice Presidency, he contributes to strategic orientation, institutional discipline, and governance coherence, supporting IFSJ’s engagement with international partners and multilateral environments. Through this function, Erich Hillinger strengthens the Federation’s institutional backbone, ensuring that its advisory structures, leadership culture, and external positioning are grounded in seriousness, continuity, and trust.

Tom Heilandt
Secretary General
Tom Heilandt serves as Secretary General of the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ), bringing with him decades of experience gained at the highest levels of the United Nations system.
A former senior UN diplomat, he is widely regarded as a trusted consensus-builder in complex multilateral negotiations, most notably during his tenure as Secretary of the Codex Alimentarius Commission of FAO and WHO, where he coordinated international cooperation among more than 180 member states.
His experience brings additional depth and continuity to IFSJ’s engagement with the UN system, contributing insight into its working culture, standards, and multilateral practices. In his role as Secretary General, he contributes strategic judgment, institutional memory, and diplomatic perspective to the Federation’s leadership.
Within IFSJ and its Concord Council for Global Affairs (CCGA), he acts as a senior reference point and strategic voice, supporting the Federation’s engagement with governments, international organizations, and policy communities.

Timothy Mudiayi Bukassa
Head of Global Strategic Communications
Timothy Mudiayi Bukassa serves as Head of Global Strategic Communications at the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ), an NGO holding consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
He represents the Federation’s public-facing presence at the intersection of global policy, sustainability, and high-visibility dialogue, shaping how IFSJ engages with international audiences, institutions, and stakeholders.
In this capacity, he moderates and hosts international conferences, policy panels, side events, and multistakeholder dialogues, supporting members, partners, and institutions in structuring public engagement, visibility, and narrative positioning within UN-adjacent and international forums.
Alongside his institutional responsibilities, he brings extensive experience from public broadcasting, live event hosting, moderated interviews, and large-scale public formats, enabling IFSJ to operate credibly both within institutional environments and in broader public arenas where global issues are communicated, debated, and shaped.
Through this role, Timothy contributes to the Federation’s communications strategy and to its capacity to convene, represent, and project dialogue-driven initiatives across regions and sectors, aligning institutional engagement with contemporary public discourse.

Oskar Enzersberger
Treasurer
Oskar Enzersberger serves as Treasurer of the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ), overseeing the Federation’s financial integrity, transparency, and internal control structures.
He brings a background in financial management and organizational administration, contributing a disciplined and reliability-focused perspective to IFSJ’s governance. His role is centered on ensuring that the Federation’s financial practices are sound, compliant, and aligned with its long-term institutional objectives.
As Treasurer, he is responsible for budget oversight, financial reporting, and internal financial coordination, supporting the leadership in maintaining accountability and operational clarity. His work provides the structural foundation that allows the Federation’s programs, advisory bodies, and international engagement to function on a stable and credible basis.
Through this function, Oskar Enzersberger contributes to the Federation’s institutional resilience, ensuring that growth, partnerships, and international activity are supported by prudent financial governance and responsible stewardship.

Pacifique Niyonkururu
Statutory Auditor
Pacifique Niyonkururu serves as Statutory Auditor of the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ), providing independent oversight of the Federation’s financial governance, compliance framework, and internal control mechanisms.
With a background in accounting and financial operations, he contributes a rigorous, methodical, and integrity-driven perspective to IFSJ’s oversight architecture. His role is focused on ensuring transparency, accuracy, and procedural discipline across financial processes.
As Statutory Auditor, he supports the Federation’s leadership by safeguarding financial credibility and reinforcing trust among members, partners, and institutional stakeholders. His function provides assurance that IFSJ’s financial activities are conducted responsibly, in accordance with applicable standards, and aligned with the Federation’s long-term institutional objectives.
Through this mandate, Pacifique Niyonkururu contributes to the Federation’s structural integrity and sustainable development, ensuring that growth and international engagement rest on sound financial stewardship.

Carol Juliana Muñoz Ortega
Statutory Auditor
Carol Juliana Muñoz Ortega serves as Statutory Auditor of the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ), contributing to the Federation’s financial governance, compliance framework, and internal control mechanisms.
With a background in international finance and accounting, she brings structured expertise in income auditing, financial operations, and accounts receivable management within complex, high-volume environments. Her work reflects a rigorous, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to financial oversight, encompassing reconciliations, revenue validation, reporting processes, and discrepancy analysis.
In her role as Statutory Auditor, she contributes to safeguarding the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of the Federation’s financial activities. Her function supports institutional accountability and reinforces confidence among members, partners, and external stakeholders.
Through this mandate, Carol Juliana Muñoz Ortega contributes to the Federation’s financial credibility and structural integrity, ensuring that its operations are conducted in alignment with sound governance principles and long-term institutional objectives.

The Concord Council for Global Affairs (CCGA) serves as an independent, honorary advisory body within the International Federation for Sustainability and Justice (IFSJ).*
Composed of senior figures from diplomacy, public affairs, academia, and international engagement, the CCGA contributes strategic insight, perspective, and reputational depth to the Federation’s long-term orientation. The Council does not exercise executive authority or operational control, but supports IFSJ through counsel, reflection, and informed dialogue on global affairs.
The CCGA operates on an invitation-only basis and is maintained as a discreet, relationship-based structure, reinforcing institutional credibility, continuity, and strategic awareness at the highest level.
*Membership in the Concord Council for Global Affairs is by invitation only and is extended to individuals recognized for their experience and contribution to international affairs.
